Our story

Hi, I’m Nina and I design invitations. Being a part of our client’s beautiful love stories, that you don’t read in books is why I love designing wedding invitations. It’s the everyday kind of love that endure all the ups and downs of life, the real love. When you have such a special love story you expect those emotions to flow through everything on that day, including the first look you’ll get of your union – the invitations.

Custom invitations can come at a hefty cost. What about those couples in the in-between? When I was looking around for my own invitations I found no middle-ground options. You either search a site that millions of others use and hope for the best, and cross your fingers that one design resonates with you. Or you want something so unique, so custom, so magical to capture your love story but are shocked at the price and process.

Luckily for me, I had the knowledge and talent to design my own invitations. But there are many out there that need that guidance just to know what paper is out there, what sizes are standard, and what fonts go together.

Here at Harbor, we wanted to provide those in-between couples with beautifully crafted designs that speak more to their personal love story, whether that's through our fully custom design suite, or from our semi-custom designs that have that boutique design feel. We’re confident that you’ll be so in love with your stationery and how it perfectly marries to your big day.

She is very passionate about her work and goes the extra mile to make sure her clients are happy. From the initial meeting to the final product delivery, Nina worked with me every step of the way leaving no detail unfinished. She also created a custom watercolor map to supplement our invitations and I received so many compliments. I would recommend Harbor Invitations & Designs to all brides!”

"I absolutely loved working with Harbor Invitations for my fall wedding in the Hudson Valley. Nina understood that I am an artist and she helped me find the best way to incorporate my watercolor paintings into every aspect of the invitation suite. She worked with me on picking the font and wording and knew the best way to align the textual elements of each piece. She worked with our Design Printer to have the suite printed on the best paper using the best color for the job.

Nina was so professional and responsive throughout our entire project, she is a great communicator. She was punctual on each deadline we set and she had great ideas to make the project the best. Not only was she organized, but she also made the planning and creative process more fun! Wedding planning can be really stressful at times but she really reminded me to enjoy the process from beginning to end. She also helped coordinate the day of materials so that they jived with the wedding invitation suite perfectly and everything was completed and sent on time. I highly recommend Harbor Invitations for any of your wedding paperwork!"

“Nina was a pleasure and a dream to work with on my many invitations, save the dates, escort cards, and more. I was a Covid bride who had needed multiple save the dates and invitations for my ever-changing wedding date and Nina understood this predicament. Each project was thoughtfully and beautifully designed. Nina was so helpful, and flexible, and ensured each project was carried out quickly and professionally.

I had a very interesting/unique idea for our table numbers, the names of the roads my spouse and I frequently had to drive to see each other when we dated long distance but done prettier and more stylized than just street/highway signs. Nina nailed this vision I had! She made it more beautiful, classy, and fun than I imagined! She thoughtfully listened to my ideas and brought them to life so wonderfully. I received so many compliments on everything Nina made for us.”
